Who We Are
The North McPherson STEAM Foundation, Inc. (NMSF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to meaningful, hands-on STEAM education for students, educators, and communities. Through innovative student programs, classroom experiences, professional development, and community partnerships, we bring science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to life in ways that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and develop real-world skills. From coding and robotics to drones, agriculture, engineering, and emerging technologies, NMSF creates opportunities for learners to explore, create, innovate, and discover what’s possible—because small experiences can create big futures.
Our Story
Why We Started
The North McPherson STEAM Foundation was created to address a critical gap in access to high-quality, hands-on STEM education.
Too many students—especially in underserved communities—lack exposure to real-world technology, innovation, and career pathways. We saw the need to change that.
What began as a vision to introduce students to drones, 3D printing, and engineering has grown into a multi-program initiative serving students across multiple communities.
