Meet the Team  

A team of accomplished Alabama State University alumni is at the helm of The North McPherson STEM Foundation, Inc., dedicated to advancing STEM education and inspiring the next generation of innovators.  

Tieka North, Founder and Director: A passionate STEM educator with 8 years of teaching experience, Tieka has taught chemistry, biology, physical science, digital agronomy, and STEM. She is Project Lead The Way and a FAA certified drone pilot. A graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor’s in Marine Biology, Tieka brings her expertise and leadership to the foundation, driving its mission to empower young minds.  

Ebony Fields, Secretary and Marketing Director: With a degree in Business Marketing from Alabama State University, Ebony ensures smooth operations and leads strategic outreach efforts. Her innovative marketing campaigns and dedication help the foundation connect with the community and amplify its impact.  

Tiffany Presley, Financial Secretary: Tiffany, a graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor’s in Biology with a Health Science focus, manages the foundation’s finances. Her attention to detail ensures the foundation’s programs are sustainable and effective in reaching their goals.
